Climbpro changign screeens

It annoys me... I find that when I hit a climb section, the screen defaults back to screen 1, going black to indicate I'm on a climb. It would make sense if it went to the climbpro screen, but it doesn't. If I'm on the map screen, this is annoying as I now need to scroll back so I dont get lost. It then goes back to screen 1 AGAIN at the end of the climb -more scrolling back for me. I like the idea, and want to see the climbpro screen, but only when I want to go to it manually.
Is there a way around this , or am I stuck with this annoying behaviour ??

    Believe it’s an option to auto detect climbing which you can turn off. I wanted it to activate Climb Pro screen but that’s not an option so I deactivated it.

    Hopefully it's something that can get fixed - I'll submit a support ticket. The way it works now is silly!

    Has there been any update on this?  I agree I hate the way it changes screens TO THE SCREEN I DON'T WANT TO USE.  If you could somehow disable all ClimbPro screens except for the one you want, then I'd be fine with that.  I'm only interested in the "how far do I have on this climb" graphical screen but others might want something else.  Doesn't seem to be any way to adjust this other than turning Climb Pro on vs off.

    Yes, I don't really understand the functionality of this.  Just messes up my watch face... if going really fast, it changes even on the slightest incline... keep forgetting to turn off the function!  Glad this post reminded me! :-)
