Select up or down whilst keys locked

Why is it now I finally have the FR 945, top of the range its meant to be, but once in an activity and the keys are locked I still can't just go up and down to view the pre selected data screens for the nominated activity?

I would have thought Garmin would easily add this feature?

don't lock the keys if you want to use them!!

As kitenski said - "don't lock the keys". Not sure if we are mis-reading this but it does sound like you are complaining that when you lock the keys they are locked. You can also have the data screens scroll through automatically. Or set up a Hot Key to lock/unlock.

When using this feature and the keys lock, you need to press and hold any key on the device until the unlock symbol appears in the screen. Then you can use the keys as usual. They will lock up again if not pressed during a short interval.
