Two Sapphire Fenix 6 Pro’s, backlight / contrast issues

It was my mistake I trust before but now I don’t trust any more when I find out but it’s too late I will keep it because is no chance I can return but this will not stop me to share my opinion on and facts about this if something is advertised and written as dlc it should be like this and I caught up with a marketing lie that’s it.

Yes I am a little jealous and hurt that people got perfect black screen ones and it's too late to return mine.

I don't know if you are being sincere, but I'll take that at face value.  Please PM me and lets see what it would take to get your watch changed out.  I have a lot of contacts in the industry.  It's simply not right to have a "have and have not" feeling with a product.  You should be as happy with your purchase as everyone else.

I am in a waiting pattern now on the Fenix, Waiting for a few things to get fixed and to see if they release an LTE.  I purchased 2 stainless steel/sapphire AW4's cellular on sale yesterday because they have the sapphire lens, the regular AW's scratch too easy.  Now I'm just alternating watches each day, so I'm never without one on.  That's what is kind of nice is that Crapple melds everything together so it works seemless.

I'm still a HUGE HUGE fan of the Fenix looks and philosophy, but not so much of their quality of components and sensors as of late.

Same sad people all the time, they do it to everybody and although that behaviour has been reported to so called moderators they did not do anything about it. Make your conclusion out of it :)

I know the topic is for something else but this is the most active one :).

I noticed the bluetooth connection is better with my replacement watch. So just wondering did something changed in the last 2 weeks software wise. I had an Iphone 11 two weeks ago but now I own a 11 Pro but I don't loose connection on the toilet and the first floor right now :)

I just got an Apple Watch Series 5 too. Not the sapphire one though. I have 14 days to return it so I am wearing both to compare the heart rate and GPS between them.

I tried the original, series 2, and series 3 I think, but was not at all impressed with the fitness features. Seemed very inaccurate.

I have to say though that this series 5 seems to have a very good heart rate sensor and GPS. This is only my second day with it, but so far I am very impressed so far. Not sure if I can get used to having to charge it every day or not, but time will tell.

I have been questioning lately if I even need all the advanced features of the fenix just to stay in shape. I think the series 5 gives enough metrics and so far seems to be more accurate on the metrics that it does provide.

We'll see in the next 12 days.

FYI the only difference between the 4 and 5 are compass and always on display.  They both have the same identical processor..  I got 2 stainless steel sapphires with cellular for 399 each! That’s less than a Fenix and that’s how I’m never without a watch.  Hell of a sale going on.
