Petition Software features from Fenix 6

Garmin seems to be considering which features to bring to the 945 from Fenix 6. I have started this thread so that people can voice their desire for the new features.

It seems that the following is confirmed to be added to the 945 at some later date in the fall:

Climbpro(?)
Pacepro(?)
Widget glances
Extra data fields

Not confirmed

Power manager (customize below mode)
Power mode (see battery impact of settings)

I personally would love the battery modes. This really adds a feature to the 945 That almost made me sway for a suunto 9

they cannot be turned off. my recommendation: get the connect iq field "Run Power". It allows 6 fields with substantially larger fonts.

Good tip, thanks. I'm currently using DataRun datafield and it's pay only. Looks like Run Power is free.

Power Manager and Power Mode would be very helpful. For a watch this expensive these features should be included, but hopefully they will include them on the next update.

That may or may not be a good thing. I don't know for certain, but I believe the extremely high number of HR complaints with the F6 not working well outside of an activity is related to the power management and HR sampling rate. The 945 and 245 uses the same sensor and if you combine the HR issues with those two watches they still don't come close as to what is being reported with the F6.

ski slope maps and fenix's map layers would be great too

Virtual "cycling" as we got virtual run would also be nice. I don't know if this was a fenix's feature, though
