Ray said on Twitter:
The Forerunner 245/245M/945 will all get PacePro. The FR945 will also get widget glances and map themes (including popularity/heatmaps). TBD/TBA for the FR945 on getting power/battery…
PacePro, Widget glances, new ClimbPro gradient, Map Themes, 6 data fields per page are all confirmed for FR945 this fall at latest.
I would like 6 data on one page as on screens with F6 on my FR945. I know i can use custom CIQ field but still i have more trust for build in fields (not to crash) and i assume battery would be better…
but Edge 1030 have now some Firstbeat things that came with Edge 530/830, is there any detailed info, what is pace pro exactly?
EDITH:
What is the PacePro feature?
PacePro is a new addition to our running features, where you can create a pace plan from a Garmin Connect course or by selecting a distance. Once selected, you can customize the guidance based on personal racing strategies, and we provide dynamic grade-adjusted pace guidance based on the elevation profile and distance of your activity.
From the presentation at UTMB that I was just watching a few minutes ago it looked more like a supporting tool to help you pace yourself over race courses which are not flat.
Personally there is nothing the Fenix 6 adds which I'd need. I'm still wanting them to add native power support in running. But I guess this will never happen. If they'd at least add the already existing datafield from biking...
here is a DC video of Fenix 6 testing:

I love the new widget glances concept. Hope that that makes it to the 945.
somewhere in Ray´s review he says:
"Garmin says they’re bringing this to other devices in the future, but hasn’t specified which existing devices will get it (likely the Forerunner 945, MARQ, and perhaps Forerunner 245)."
we´ll see.
