segment translation and deadlock

Dear uncle Scrooge (Garmin),

945 firmware is a big disapointment to me and here my latest anoying findings:

1) segment screen translation to czech is nonsence

2) screen with new best connection time or whatever the original caption is keeps showing up till the end of segment with vibrating and the watch cannot be controlled with buttons.

I believe this is a feature, called Auto Effort,

You can set your device to automatically adjust the target race time of a segment based on your performance during the segment.

Yeah I have seen the segment target keep switching between say my PR and the CR when running. Have mentioned it to Garmin.

Yes the idea is that rather than pre selecting say your PB or the CR/KOM as the "target" the watch dynamically adjusts the target depending on how you are doing. If say your PB is a second or two slower than the CR/KOM then perhaps not surprising the watch gets in a muddle. One assumes what it should do is to decide on one or the other early on and stick with that and perhaps only check again every minute or so. What it seems to do is to constantly check and I had a "bleep fest" on my last CR attempt so just had to get my head down and run on feel. At least I got it :)

Thanks! i disabled this for every sport that i use in fr945.
