How to synchronize strava live segments with FR945 via GCM

I have strava summit active nad linked in garmin connect on the web. I starred segments in strava and they appear in garmin express do synchronize. I wanted to synchronize it via garmin connect mobile but they dont. How to make it happen?

They are bike segments and run segments. It didnt worked with 2.60 fw nor with 2.70 firmware. GCM is up to date.

On your mobile, head to training, then segments. There's the option there to use either strava or Garmin. Select strava and they should download to your watch on the next sync.

If strava is already selected then try switching to Garmin then back to strava.

You can check to see if they have downloaded on your watch by heading to the activity type and pressing up to get to activity settings and selecting segments

I have somethig like this

Checking garmin segments and i got button "upload to watch". Checking again strava and nothing changes. I can only run strava to see starred segments. No upload to my FR945 :(

Check you have strava segments enabled under 3rd party apps in settings in GCM

you tried already with Garmin Express, most time i can only sync with Express? or WLAN on the Watch, think GCM sync is not working!

I've never synced any of my watches, 735,935 and now 945 with express, only my phone and I've no issue getting segments on my watch.

Try disconnecting both apps and then re connecting both apps using your phone.

Thanks! i forgot about wifi. It worked via wifi. I can sync with hotspot in my phone :)

since 2 days my Strava segments syncing now with Android GCM (not sure, but think after 4.22 update) on FR 945 and Edge 830 together, before it was only possible over WLAN or Express!

I can confirm this. It looks like GCM is working again. So it was system error.
