Unable to Install Amazon from Garmin Connect

Hey everyone, I have the Amazon app in my "Music" section of Garmin Connect, but no matter what I do it won't install onto the watch. Everything else syncs perfectly and I was even able to uninstall Deezer, however whenever I go to Amazon Music and hit install it acts like it's loading then takes me back to the Music page and shows it 'not installed'.

What gives?

  • Just as an additional point, I tried downloading from the Garmin Express app as well and when I press on the cloud next to Amazon Music it shows a loading line and then stops and gives me "! Failed" in all red with no explanation whatsoever, so that's nice...

  • Maybe it's appeared in Connect IQ ahead of time and is not available yet despite reports. I'd give it a day or two before getting too concerned. If you really are in a rush, contact Garmin Support for their take on its availability.

  • I installed and used it in the second DCRainmaker published his video (e.g. yesterday for my timezone). Works pretty good though syncing is very slow.

    I used the Android ConnectIQ app-store, searched for "Amazon" and installed the music app from there (phone connected with BT). It took a while but then I was ready to go.
