Itunes playlist sync issues

After syncing my itunes playlist (mac) using garmin express for mac, however, I cannot see the same playlists in garmin express that were supposed to be synced that I see in the device. There are fewer playlists in the device, altough there were no errors during syncing process.

On the other hand, after deleting playlists from the device, using garmin express, it seems as these deletions are not been synced, as I can still have these songs in the garmin device.

It seems as if the syncing between garmin express and the device has issues.

Finally, does anybody knows what the best way to delete all the music from the device and start from scratch is?

  • Yes, same for me. Syncing is not reliable. Not all songs are being synced, deletions are not propagated, etc.

    Meanwhile I can live with as it is as I am just manually copying my podcasts over there and delete them afterwards manually. No really like it should be in 2019, but well.

    As for the deletion of all music, I did this also before. I think, it was able to press command+a to select all and then delete. Not sure about this, but can not check at the moment as I have no access to my home Mac.

    Hello, can I ask have you resolved this issue as I am finding the same thing on my Garmin Fenix 6X but I guess its actually on the Garmin Express where the issue is. 

    Can anyone help?
