SW 2.70 WHR swim

"Changes made from version 2.50 to 2.64:

Added ability to enable wrist-based heart rate for swimming (pool and open water). To enable this feature: 1. Open Menu 2. Scroll to 'Wrist Heart Rate' and enter menu 3. Scroll to 'While Swimming' and toggle to 'On'"

This is not mentioned in 2.7 changelog. Is it disabled again or can we still use it in 2.7?

Is open water wrong stroke lenght, total stroke count and SWOLF fixed?

If so then you should name the new official SW version, e.g. 2.63. With official version number 2.70, anyone who wants to stay on 2.64 must disable autoupdate.

50bpm difference? I think your wirst-bones are so strange... I didn’t use whr a lot, but 50bpm are too much! And for swimming it’s better than nothing for sure

I find mine quite accurate and have run with two watches to compare the difference between OHR and a strap based reading. Over a 45 minute run, there really wasn't much in it and the OHR seemed to be more responsive on changes in HR on hills.

We really appreciate that so many users want to see this feature brought in permanently and are glad to hear that many of you have been happy with the results you've gotten so far. This is a feature that we are still beta testing at the moment as we want to ensure that the best version we can provide is what users see when it is included in production software.

Thanks. I truly hope that the new firmware version is in our 945s soon. Because,... is it impossible to expect a "2.74" beta, with the implementations of the 2.70 plus the OHR while swimming?

Would iswimming OHR be available for Marq series (I have Marq Expedition), because it has principally the same HW and SW (at least in beta)? Thank you

I sincerely hope you don't abandon it because a few people don't like it or can't get it to work (many seem to be people who can't get OHR to work with other activities either....).

I agree. There´s an option just to disable the OHR during swimming activities. If you don´t like the results it gives, as simply as select off in the settings. I really, really liked the option intruduced by the 2.64.

You draw a long bow with a short string. Many can’t get OHR to work in the water...because it doesn’t work well in the water. Nothing to do with how OHR works otherwise.
