According to DC Rainmaker a beta update is coming soon for Garmin devices that should improve open water swim (ows)

Soonish? How long is a piece of string?

I know the haters will believe otherwise, but does anyone seriously think Garmin are not taking the issue with OWS seriously? Clearly it's not a simple fix otherwise it would be fixed. And there are a number of reports already suggesting that progress has already been made that will lead to release software with further improvements, never mind beta.

From a personal perspective - the sea doesn't open until the end of October. Garmin have three months to fix it lol!
