945 Not Connecting to Garmin Express?

Just after my first run. I am unable to get my 945 to connect up with Garmin Express. My 'Safely Remove Hardware' icon has disappeared. Device Manager shows the following Error Messages: (1) Device USB\VID_091E&PID_4C29\0000c4be1570 requires further installation. (2) Device USB\VID_091E&PID_4C29\0000c4be1570 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match.

I have been running on a Forerunner 230 for about two years prior to this event. Never had a problem with the 230. Advice? Suggestions? Comments?

I am having the same issue with my 945. Wont connect to sync any more. Come on Garmin, what is wrong

What OS are you running? You also may want to try to change the USB setting on the watch from MTP to Garmin to see if that helps.

If not, best thing is to delete the faulty Garmin entry from the device manager, which involves a bit of advanced interaction. I could provide you with the procedure if desired.

Same issue on Garmin Connect Mobile. Won’t sync my watch. Have spent three hours on this. Disconnected the watch, uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times, turned the watch on and off. It won’t for the life of me sync last two days activities. Why Garmin?

Same issue here. Is everyone on IOS or are there some Android users also. I am thinking that the IOS 13.x.x update has screwed this up.

I started having this issue also on Friday. I did a long run and then it refused to sync. It showed connected, but the watch was locked in the sync and refused to finish. I tried forcing a sync over WiFi and it caused a reboot of the watch. I finally just gave up and moved on with my day. Went to go swim Saturday morning and as I walked up to the pool it suddenly synced my run with no prompting from me. Sunday I had an issue again with my Edge 830 syncing a ride to GCM and was finally able to sort it by manually connecting the second bluetooth connection on my phone. The run I did right after the ride synced normally form my 945 with no issues and the swim I did this morning also synced normally with no additional input from me.

Same issue won't sync using Garmin Connect - yes IOS Windows 10 Garmin Express all OK
