Weather Widget Not Updating Appropriately

My weather widget does not update the weather throughout the day while connected to my phone. It seems that the weather just gets stuck at a certain temperature and never updates. When I dig into the widget it’ll show me the correct hourly temperatures but they don’t match up with “current weather” either on the widget or on my watch face.

The only way the 945 updates to the current weather is after I pair and unpair and restart everything; phone, watch, Bluetooth. This is starting to get stupid ridiculous and is not intuitive AT ALL, as the weather is a large part of the new training performance factors I want this thing to function perfectly. Is anyone else having this issue?

I have my 945 paired to my iPhone 6 on latest iOS and most up to date Connect app. All these connect features work; ie message alerts, upload of activities etc.

Pay attention that the root cause might be that the forecast is fixed while the actual is dynamic measuring.

One will not update its forecast only due to higher actual resulted from bad forecasting.

I use an Android phone and found that I had set the Location permission for the Garmin app to "Only when in use" instead of "always".

After I changed the Location permission for the app to "always" I've found that the weather app on my 945 updates more reliably.

No fix is needed - just understanding that the minimum and maximum are forecast while the actual is actual.

Forecast was determined before the actual came and might be out of limits of the original forecast.
