How to change favorite activity from run to bike?

Can anyone tell me how to change the favorite activity when you press the start button on the 945 to Bike? I've tried to do this in the Garmin Connect app on my phone which seems to work fine but when I go back into the setting it has reverted to running.

Settings>Activities&apps, go to the activity, press start, set as favorite. You can remove something from favorites in the same way

when you press start on your 945 the last used activity is marked.

Hello

What about change from bike to run on an old Edge 200. The later update asks every time I want to change from default ..!

This is the wrong forum. There is no forum for the Edge 200 so hard to select the correct one but one of the other Edge forums is probably better.

The Edge is a biking computer and can only record bike rides. You will have to change the activity type in Garmin Connect after you've synced the ride/run.
