I have originally ordered a regular black 945 and had it replaced by the vendor because of the mushy button issue. The replacement had a newer serial number but still the same issue, although less bad.
A friend gave me the hint that the blue bundle watches have some sort of newer hardware version or release, so I gave it a try and ordered that now directly via Garmin.
And well, that blue watch's buttons are really perfectly clicky even noticably better than on my old 935 which I considered already great.
Now I do wonder, if there are any other relevant quality differences between both versions, at least the quality of the button haptics is a major leap forward.
