Another bug? HRM-Run and RUN activity. Watch HR sensor LEDs still working

As subject says, yesterday I made a run activity (firmware 2.50) with my hrmrun4 band. What I've noticed is that while strap was working as I was getting power data fields and advanced dynamics I've also noticed that FR945 LEDs were blinking all the duration of the workout.

Is it not supposed to be OFF while using hrm-run?

(I can confirm that on Fenix5 leds are OFF).

I did a run this morning after updating to 2.8 using the HRM Tri and the LEDs were off!!! I checked several times as I usually wear the watch a notch looser when wearing a strap.

It appears to be fixed in 2.8 for me...

  • No, it"s not. FR945 on 2.80 FW. I did a run today with ANT+ external HR strap and oHR green LED lights were blinking all the time.

PulseOx set to - only during a sleep.

    No restart.

After restart the behaviour is as it should be. Entering the activity with ext HR shuts off oHR. PulseOx still set to during a sleep.

    Former Member &

how about a simple hard reset by press and hold the light button until the screen goes dark

afterwards a timesync may be needed when not already synced automagically

I did notice on a later run I was waiting to do that after pressing start and selecting run, I didn't get any indication on the screen that the HRM was connected. I turned the watch off and back on and re-started the sctivity and the HRM displayed connected. It was then that the OHR LED's were off.

I believe the failure for the HRM-Tri to display connected lets the LED's continue to run. SO I'll always make sure the strap shows connected for now.

  • Former Member Fenix 6 fw 4.10 and OHR blinking during workouts with straps.

Tried to shut down PulseOX and rebooting. No wallet in use. It seems that only solution is to shut down OHR from menu during the workouts.

Is there any solution yet? Meanwhile, please add me to the ticket too.
