Notifications iOS 13 beta

Changed to an iPhone from my android. I installed iOS 13 beta and do not get any notifications on my 945. Anyone else experience this? Any fix or is it just a beta bug on Apple’s side!

You will need to change the below settings on your phone, not the Forerunner to resolve this.

Settings > Notifications > Messages > Show Preview > "When Unlocked"

Which beta are you running? The developer beta 3 last week fixed notifications for me. If you're running the public beta you can check here for a workaround or just wait until the next public comes…

Wait until it's released publicly. You'll get no joy chasing solutions for problems that don't exist 'officially'. Revert back to iOS 12 and then see if you have a problem.

Got it working where I get the notifications but it doesn’t vibrate. Getting closer :)

I have the public release installed now. I get every notification on my 935 EXCEPT iMessages. Odd.

Still digging for a reason (ps: was *sure* they worked on day one, and if that’s true, maybe it’s a setting I changed?)

I just noticed the vibration doesn’t work for anything on my FR 945 after updating to iOS 13

Found this in another thread. It fixed the issue for me:

Settings > Notifications > Messages > Show Preview > "When Unlocked"

Allows watch to always show you text messages no matter if your phone is locked or unlocked. On your phone, the lock screen will show Sender Name & "iMessage" however when unlocked unfortunately you will see a preview. Hopefully this is patched soon

Thank you. It didn’t work for me. I changed it to where I am supposed to get a tone and vibration now and it still won’t vibrate but will chirp when I get a message.

Also the vibration on the relaxation breathing exercise no longer works.

I can turn on the option to make it vibrate every time you push a button and that works but that’s it as far as I can tell.

Yes that is what I did for that particular setting. There is no setting like that on the FR
