Wrong Timezone for Pool Swims when travelling

Hi there,

I have been tracking Pool Swims back home, that synced with the correct timezone. Now I am travelling and the swims still sync in my home timezone. Runs correctly sync in the foreign time zone I am in.

I have had a GPS lock before the swim.

Anybody seen this issue? Or better knows how to get it synced properly?

I havn't swam for a while but I remember encountering this issue and I don't think it is on the watch but Garmin Connect so you will need to adjust your time zone on your Garmin Connect Profile.

Yeah seems that's correct. It even says in Garmin Connect, that the time set is used for non-GPS uploads... So its not a bug, but just not yet a feature. Should be though! Thanks for that input!

I cant find the starting time of the activity within the watch. Is there a way to look it up on the watch? Or do I have to open the FIT file externally?

Seems to suggest, that a GPS lock in a different timezone followed by Sync to Garmin Connect should indeed update the Timezone setting in Garmin Connect. So a bug after all?

Good thing I am not constantly travelling between timezones:-)
