GENERAL TEST Forerunner 945

I've noticed just after 1week usin' 945 that there're some probs to solve regardin' in 1st HR wrist, 'cause in a cardio session and sitting on a bench the device shows me 183bpm range and tha other great prob is the Physio TrueUp used to tranfer some data from pervious deveices...doesn't work properly...I've been cancel all datas and start from zero with the new device to have some lost data….

Ths test starts now...

  • UPDATE 2....Garmin tech support send me new device….setup of it….same probs!!!! So I re contanct and Tomorrow I'll send back to re try with another device, the 3rd in 1 month ….

now…..someone tells me that I'm the only one or PERHAPS there're BIG NATIVE PRBOS with 945??????

    I'll tell something whrn I'll receive the 3rd device….

Maybe you should read this thread again.  Since there isn't a single post where someone has agreed with your "test", (some which make absolutely no sense), I think you'll have an answer to your question.

  • Maybe Garmin should read this and stop exchanging the watches with Luca and cut the losses and refund it. Yes there are bugs with the watch, but these "GENERAL TEST"'s are just awffull. I've not even tried to understand these so called tests.

  • Luca, Have you owned a Garmin watch before? If so what was it and did it work as you expect?

Agreed. I don't think Luca understands how the 945 is supposed to work and instead is convinced the 945 is defective.   Some of the test require a chest strap. This isn't being done and Luca misunderstands this as a fault. Same goes for expecting certain metrics using activity apps that don't provide those metrics. Most of the "test" are invalid and make no sense.  Waiting on test 11, cycling without a power meter and finding another fault because there's no cycling VO2 Max.

  • UPDATE 2 REPLIES...Probably all of U reply me with a nonsense...I'm a Nime tester I made 200k x week I use Garmin devices for several years..for exp 630, 735xt 935 and startin' from Fenix 5X plus and the last 945 I've a lot of probs...I work Always with HRM-Tri or run and Vector 2 or 3 so ...if U read ALL of this section post regardin' 945 U can see that there're something don't right ith the watch…...exp...with the Fenix, Garmin tech support change me 5 devices 'cause I WORK WITH FATIGUE, I WORK WITH DATA so If all of U, great users and easy to make sentences like "probably Garmin read this post and doesn't change watches" are "sunday's runner" so ...I wrote these posts, and I'm not the only one with probs with this device, I made its to give Garmin a feedback to reset software apps 'cause device is right but have some native sw probs and one like e that uses for WORK can't wait an update after 1 or 2 months

clear or I must make some drawings to everyone uses the device only for sms or music????????

Five Fenix watches and waiting on your 3rd 945?   What were the totals for the 630, 735 and 935?   You've told us about 8. I'm sure the total is much higher when you add the others and you still can't see where the problem lies.  Please, please, please include drawings.  I need a visual of "I work with fatigue".

  • Not sure what a nime tester is.But someone like you who is not able to properly document his test results is never able to make a living out of testing.

Most of the testing is without any structure, wrong assumptions and poorly documented results. Better if you move on and troll a different company/forum.
