Thought people may be interested in this - I just bought one of these clip-on covers for the 945 - it is a molded plastic shell which clips on/off to protect the body of the watch, can be done whilst wearing the watch. Seems to fit well and snaps on securely.
It doesn't look as nice as the actual body, it's shiny plastic, but I plan to put it on the watch just when I ride my MTB, just in case I take a spill and want to avoid scratching the watch.
It's only $8 USD so doesn't matter if it gets banged up.
This in combination with a screen protector should do the job.
