GPS beta update, which link?

So we ave 2 links for GPS update, 2.30 to 2.40, which one is "the good one"?¿

you can without harm place both files on your device

it will only update GPS with the file version it recognizes

want secure update....

you can search for 3107 or 3506 in the garmindevice.xml file on your device

the one you will find is the one to use for the update

question is what is the difference between those two....

chipset ? no

antenna ?

3506 used in beta and following firmwares ? (as with switch to galileo) ?

I updated 3107. Didn't even know about that 3506.

And Garmin-Blake says https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/running-multisport/f/forerunner-945/165107/gps-chipset-beta-2-42-now-available 3107.

By the id that 3506 is added later.. but both says 945.. Dunno :)

3506 is not recognized by my 945.

My guess would be APAC vs ROW, as there are some differences GPS wise. I think Japan has its own GPS and China does too if I recall
