Bluetooth Headphone Bug With Spotify App

Hi,

Loving the 945 but having serious issues using Spotify audio when exercising.

I can play music from Spotify no problem, when not exercising.  However, as soon as I start a exercise activity, the watch immediately drops it's bluetooth connection to the earphones.  Have tested repeatedly and this is 100% reproducible on my watch.

I don't know if there's some other workflow for playing music when exercising, but as things stand this functionality is broken.  This was one of the standout features for me when choosing the Forerunner so would very much like to get it working.

Is anyone else seeing this or does anyone have any suggestions?

    Sounds like a similar problem i had with my jabra active 65t. The headphones also offered themselves as some kind of sensor to the forerunner - i'm guessing cadence - which i accepted. The result was that the audio connection was terminated immediately as soon as ant+ was initialized on any device nearby. If your headphones have a similar feature disable it. Remove the headphones from the watch and connect them as headphones only.

  • Go to the Sensors&Accessories menu and remove all sensors with the Jabra name, then add ONLY the Jabra as headphones, not the one with the name FP (footpod)

  • I do not lose the headphone connection entirely but my Spotify music cuts in and out like I am at the cusp of the Bluetooth range, despite the watch being worn on the same side of my body has the master wireless ear bud. It only seems to happen when I am navigating a route in my activity. 

  • I was having the exact same issue this evening.  The music seemed to slow down and exactly as you described, the music cuts out as if though on the edge of BT range.  I'm running the latest firmware and BT.  I was using Powerbeats Pro.
