Post-activity Respiration

Hi,

Does anyone know how to get data for the following graph in Garmin Connect? Reports -> Health & Fitness -> Respiration

First, I thought it will display the respiration rate of an activity but this is not the case for a run I did recently. I read that the Forerunner 945 also supports post-activity respiration rate. Probably this would be saved here. Anyone know how I can measure this on the device? After connecting a HR strap I haven't found anything to start the measurement.

Does anyone know if it is possible to access the HRV Stress data (not all-day stress) that is found on the mobile app under Performance Stats -> HRV Stress on the Garmin Connect website?

You need an HRM strap which records HRV, and enable HRV logging on the watch for this to work. If those two conditions are met it records respiration rate automatically.

Thanks! I have an HRM-Tri that should be able to record HRV and HRV is enabled on the watch. Maybe it takes a few days until I get first results?

It worked for me from the first activity I did with a HRM strap. I use the Polar H10 but that shouldn't make a difference. Have you tried putting 'respiration rate' as a datafield on one of the screens on your activity? If it doesn't show anything during the run (it is always empty to start as it needs time to get its act together) then it will probably not record anything either.

Try a reboot before the next activity as well, never hurts.

Including the Respiration Rate data field gives me data during the activity and I can access the graph afterwards inside the activity on Garmin Connect. But I still don’t get any entries for Reports -> Health & Fitness -> Respiration

I think you have to do the HRV-Stress-Test which can be started as an activity. I don't have any data in "performance stats -> HRV stress" for the last weeks although I often use the HRM run strap. But I remember having done the HRV-Stress-Test with the HRM run some weeks ago and there I see some data.
