Hydration/Nutrition Smart Alert & Tracking

Are there any plans to add the Hydration/Nutrition Smart Alert & Tracking from the Edge 530/830 to the Forerunner 945?

Maybe even extend this feature to include running and other activities including multi-sport?

Yep - I'd been planning on asking the same question - I just got a 530 and it's cool, but I need to eat/drink on long runs too!

@acousticbiker : MTB dynamics are unlikely, since the watch isn't rigidly attached to the bike so can't read the trail/jumps in the same way.

Set an alert for whatever time period you want. You can customise the alert to show eat/drink etc. Have had a 20 min alert on my Garmin watches for years.
