Garmin please add the FE-C support. Would be awesome to control trainer without the need of edge or smartphone.
Not only for trainers, but also for rowing machines. You could do it in the past, maybe there is "this one old guy" still there who knows how to do it?

You can already receive signals when the trainer is controlled by some other app. Assuming your trainer has ANT+ capability.
Yep. But my Tacx Neo 2T (Also Garmin...) recommendation is to turn off ANT+ (due to RF overlap)
and if I follow Tacx/Garmin recommendation not my Forerunner 945 nor Edge 530 will recognize the Tacx. Not the FE-C nor the BT signals.
