Firmware 2.48 Bluetooth Restarts Bug

 Since Upgrade to Beta 2.48.

The watch hangs up and restarts, if you connect any device (HR, PowerMeter, Footpod, Speed, Cadence, ...) via Bluetooth.

If you can connect you sensors with ant+, everything is okay.

Please be aware of this big bug, if you have bluetooth only sensors don't upgrade.

    My 945 wont connect to ANT+ unless I reboot the watch every time I start an activity

    btw. have you reported it to Garmin?

    That happened to me the moment I tried to pair my airpods to the 945.

    I was getting the same watch-freezing error trying to pair Garmin Fenix 5 plus with Airpods 1st gen. 
    Here is the procedure I followed to finally be able to use my airpods:

    • open bluetooth settings on iphone, click on the "i" next to airpods, then open airpods case and press "unpair this device" on the phone (not "disconnect"); unpair from icloud and everything if asked
    • turn off your iphone and any nearby ios device you own
    • open music app on watch, select play, select connect new eadphones
    • open airpods case, press button on case
    • airpods now connected!
    • now you can re-add the airpods to your phone: you will be able to use them with the phone, but the watch will be able to connect to the airpods when needed
    • leave your phone at home and RUN!

    just connected my bluetooth headphones and played music fine, no hang, no restart.
