Heart rate gaps and garmin pay code

I didn‘t found a post about this issue (s).

1. Garmin Pay Pin Code is needed more than only every 24h or when i take of the watch, although when i can‘t see a gap in heart rate measurement. Is this a known issue? Does anybody else have the same issue? I wear the watch tight at arm, so it can‘t move.

2. Sometimes i have gaps in heart rate measuerment for more then 10 minutes (especially in the night) is that normal?

Hi, Garmin pay works 99% of the time. I seldom have to re-enter the code. I get sometimes with Garmin 935 and now with 945 black outs of 5 to 10 minutes.

When i understand you right, you have the same issues. What do you mean with seldom once a day or once a week (more than descript). I must ener it once or twice a day more thn descript.

In the morning i do enter the pincode so it stays active for 24 hours. I have the watch since the 8th of may it happend 3 times that i had to re-enter the code. I hope this answers your question?

Yes this answer my question. Thanks. So it‘s different in my case. I need to reenter the code nearly every day, especially after workouts. After workouts i need to reenter the code everytime

You are using external HR in the workouts?

As normally the firmware shuts down the optical when using external HR during activity.

That probably will cause the wallet to be locked again.

No i don‘t use an external hr. I am working just with the fr945
