So you are saying currently on the 945, if you are doing an activity, the backlight will automatically come on if you raise your watch but in this beta there is an option to disable that from happening if its after the sun has set?
To enable it after sunset. Before beta there is no this option and if you enable gesture your back-light will be activated during activity also during the day. With this option in beta, back-light can be activated only after sunset.

OK. But: where to send feedback? Is there a FR945 support/beta whatever email address? Shouldn't that be in the release notes? I did not find it anywhere... The feedback form says what to report, but not to WHOM!
