Unfortunately DOWN hotkey can not be disabled or reassigned.
This was working on previous models, but is not available on FR945. Being able to disable or change function for the DOWN key (not all of us need it to launch only music) is an important feature. Even START+DOWN is present, but only DOWN shortcut isn't. Also we had this option in the previous FR935 watch.

I have no desire to use my watch for music and it seems absurd that I lose an entire hotkey because of that preference.
Concur. I often go to press down quickly and the music prompt comes up. So annoying
Agree! Best to send as many requests as possible to Garmin via the share ideas page.
What's wrong with a default setting to "music control" and letting users re-assign it if they want to.
