How can I display the daytime during exercising?

Hi,

During activities at my I could always display daytime by pressing one of the left buttons of my Fenix 3. Does anybody know how I can do the same with my 945?

Thanks

  • Yes - just toggle through your data screens.  One of them is the current time (clock)!

  • Or set one of the datafields in your activity to display 'Time of Day' (can be found under 'Other Fields'}

    Thanks a lot for the fast feedback. But honestly speaking I do not want to edit all of my activity profiles, I look for a button to go back to the main (time) screen. Is there any (like on the Fenix 3)?

  • There is nothing to edit, this is a default.  At least under the RUNNING activity.

    I edited all the fields to have the same layout I was used to at my previous Fenix

  • Set a hotkey (shortcut) such as "Hold Back" to "Widgets" (which takes you to the clock/widget loop).

    Hold UP > Settings > System > Hot Keys

  • One data field on each of the activities I've set up (Run, Bike, Swim) is (by default) Time of Day, on its own, on a separate page. As noted, you can simply scroll up or down to get to this page. If it's more than one click away from your favourite data screen then you simply reorder so that it is only one click away. If you don't have that page then it's a matter of moments to add another data page with a single field with Time of Day.

    It's not difficult. It's a field that is present by default on most of the activities. If not it can be easily be added. It can easily be set up to be accessed by a single button press.

    That was what I came into my mind as well. Unfortunately I did not find any widget which contains the current time (Time contains timers)

  • Go to System - Hot keys - Hold Back and select Widgets.  Now whenever you hold the back key in an activity it will go to the watch face. Works for me.

  • Like Tramplite said, using the Widget hot key will take you back to the clock and the widgets. The clock is the first page in the set of pages which includes the clock and all the widgets. It’s no different than when you are looking at the clock normally (outside of an activity) and pressing UP or DOWN will take you to a widget.

    At least that’s how it works on the 935 and Fenix 5.
