Hi,
Following a route sometimes displays "Off course" in multiple widget-pages, even though i am clearly right on the course, when looking at the arrow on the map (fully zoomed in). I noticed this in:
- On the "map widget" at the bottom there is a finish flag (that was the next way-point) which should show the remaining distance to the finish. It showed dashes most of my trip, seemingly because it thought I was off route. Note I did not get notifications about going off course or back on course while this widget was toggling between displaying distance and not displaying distance.
- The "compass widget" with a big blue(?) triangle also showed "Off course" in text next to the compass.
- some others had problems, but I do not remember the exact symptoms, i believe in climbpro it was also showing off course.
The weird thing about this problem is that on the map, I am very clearly *on*course*. Also I did not receive a notification about being off-course (i do get these notifications sometimes, e.g. if i really leave the course!). One possible reason (wild guess here): I was surely not having ideal gps reception, as I was going through forest and down the side of a rather steep mountain - so maybe the GPS position confidence (the error circle) was large. But as I said, the map widget showed me bang on the route the entire time (and moving), so gps must have been good enough for this.
