I cannot get BBC podcasts to sync in Spotify, status remains at 0%. I'm in the UK so should have no licencing issues. All other non BBC podcasts sync.
Anyone else have this issue or reducedr it?

Due to limitations, externally hosted podcasts within Spotify cannot be synced to Garmin wearables with our Connect IQ app. Spotify hosted podcasts are able to sync the same as music.
I am unable to download bbc ones either - I guess it may be some copyright issue
Hi Blake,
Thanks for the explanation. This makes me sad.
Do you think these limitations will be overcome or are they here to stay?
Many thanks!
Nick
Hi all,
I have opened a case in the Spotify Idea section and it is currently under investigation.
It does not appear that the BBC podcasts are off the table as of yet.
Feel free to vote for the issue…
This is crazy. These are expensive products and false advertising as you can't use some of the features you explicitly pay extra for by buying a music version of a watch.
I bet less people would buy it if the box said it sync's with Spotify except BBC and maybe other stuff, buy it and good luck.
When is this likely to be fixed please?
"When is this likely to be fixed please?"
call the all-mighty BBC and let them host the podcasts via spotify instead self-hosting by BBC
really guys, not everything can be blamed on Garmin...
Glad to see this answer. Have been baffled by it. First I thought it was down to apostrophes in titles because I just happened to pick Kermode & Mayo's Film Review, Elis James' Feast of Football, and Don't Tell Me the Score. At least I get it now, but not having Kermode & Mayo is massive bummer :-(
Hello to Jason Isaacs!
KeefyBeefyI’m a brand new newcomer to a Garmin FR 645 Music (a bit late, I know), and the first podcast I thought of syncing in Spotify was the BBC’s flagship film podcast - but as people have explained above, the external hosting issue is preventing this from being possible. I share your pain!
newbie_nickThanks Nick! I’ve just voted too, although it was only vote 34, and Spotify’s community forum badge for that level of votes was called “Not right now” - kind of dismissive, huh?! But at least your post was acknowledged, so fingers crossed and thanks again!
This is bad. I can definitely imagine buying the music version specifically to listen to a bbc podcast while out and about. There's nothing to indicate that this limitation exists when you buy it - you'd just assume that all podcasts that are available on spotify can be synced.
Possibly more frustrating is that there was no feedback on the app or watch as to what was going on. I reinstalled the app several times, cleared out all my podcasts and restarted my phone another few times. The whole time I couldn't figure out what was going on
The ONLY way i figured out what was going on was by searching this forum. Disappointing
