Watch switches from total miles to fraction of miles

When running my watch will show total miles for a while - 6.35. But then it will switch to showing only partial miles - .35. I do hit pause and restart while at stop lights

1. What causes this to happen?

2. How do I prevent it?

3. If it does happen, how do i get back to displaying total miles?

You need to connect the watch to a computer. There's a scrnshot directory under the garmin directory

Are you sure the whole number of miles is not being displayed in a smaller font? Take a screenshot of what you are seeing and post it so we can see.

sounds like a bug behaviour

but do as philipshambrook(unlinkable user)suggested and take a screenshot while it shows

setup a screenshot button combination through hotkeys

taking the screenshot you do not always get a feedback that the screenshot is being taken

Noticed that screenshot hotkey in configuration.. I usually just take the photo of the display.

How does that screenshot work? Is is saved somewhere, or does it sync with Garmin Connect to mobile or how?

Of course I could just try it, but do I want screenshot hotkey... :D

Ok, so not so handy as it could be :D Would be really nice if Garmin Connect would sync those :D
