Nope, i dont see it on 2.80. I can disable seconds on other stock digital WF but not this.
"EDIT - slightly changing my tune on this... I've read there's an ultra low-power, 1Hz screen refresh mode on some of the more recent Garmin devices, 945 included. Perhaps second have negligible…
I agree with FlipStone. To update seconds, only the small rectangle which holds the value is updated, not the whole display area, and it costs almost nothing for the battery compared to other processes…
One more thing about standards watchfaces - watchface from 645 model, https://cdn.pocket-lint.com/r/s/970x/assets/images/145223-fitness-trackers-review-garmin-forerunner-645-music-image1-mwdxw39fih.jpg this one, why on the 945 you added this watchface with so small font? Please, can you scale up it, devs? There a lot of space!
It's possible now. When you configure the clockface with recent firmware versions, you may disable displaying seconds.
Clockface > Customize > Seconds
EDIT: no, it's not possible, sorry. I was confusing the whole thing with a different watchface than the one CJOttawa showed, my apologies.

I'm curious about this too, be nice if Garmin would say something about this.
I was able to remove the seconds from my watch face, however I'd like to remove them from the Time field in my run activitiy.
Ex: Today I ran for more than 1 hour, but the 1 (representing the hour) was a very small number, while the minutes were larger and the seconds were larger. If I took the seconds off the total time of a run activitiy, maybe the hour field would be easier to read.
Does anyone have any tips on this?
