Nope, i dont see it on 2.80. I can disable seconds on other stock digital WF but not this.

I agree with FlipStone. To update seconds, only the small rectangle which holds the value is updated, not the whole display area, and it costs almost nothing for the battery compared to other processes…

Does anyone know how to disable the seconds display in a run activity?

ex: Once you have run for 1 hour or more, the "1" (hour") is very small and the seconds continue to display in large font.

The solution is, install a different watchface...

Either Garmin has the option to enable seconds or they don't... As seconds are redrawn using extremely efficient power modes the impact on battery life can be ignored anyway.

This is the face I use 99% of the time and I have great battery life. I don't think it would make any difference...

Yep, this is exactly what I have written about above
