So, as some of you may have read in another thread, I'm having an issue when I open the "map" app and select "around me", the watch is stuck with the loading map screen. If I use the "navigate" app, all works well. This is affecting at least one other user that I'm aware of and I've already submitted a copy of my Garmin folder to support. I had an issue with my 935 where I submitted my folder several times and after 8 months, support could never figure out the problem making me a little worried the same may happen again. Anyway, this is my first watch with maps and I'm just wondering what exactly does the "map" app do that the "navigate" app can't? What would I be missing if support can't fix this and I just delete the "map" app from my watch? Thanks!
