Bug report: the watch doesn't sync automatically after finishing an activity

When I set up the watch, I added my wifi network for syncing. Then I did a few workouts and realized the watch wouldn't automatically sync. I though it was a wifi issue so I decided to remove the wifi, leaving the only sync option to be via Bluetooth (I actually prefer this options, because I'm not always at home/work after a workout. I'd much rather to let the watch sync with my phone.) It didn't fix the problem. I always need to open the Garmin Connect App (iOS) and force it to sync. 

Already tried to:

 - uninstall the app / reinstall the app

- remove / add device from the app

Same result. I've seen other people complaining about it too..
