Considering the 945 and notice that the bezel/body is pretty much identical to the 935 in materials. Now that folks have had 935s for a while, how has it held up cosmetically?
I've had mine since Day 1 and wear it 24 hours a day with not a scratch on it. But, I, admittedly, am not rough with it and I also have a glass screen protector on it.
I'm very hard on watches. I had one for 8 months or so and wore it all the time. I had a screen protector on it and cracked two of them. When I sold it, there were a few cosmetic scratches on the bezel, but the screen protectors kept there from being any real damage. The scratches on the bezel were actually less noticeable on the FR935 than they have been on my Fenix 5+ Sapphire also. They were there if you looked closely, but since there is no shiny metal underneath they aren't really noticeable
Been wearing mine 24x7 for 19 months, taken off only for cleaning and charging. I've banged it many times on the wall etc but it is holding up excellent, I do have a screen protector on it however. A very solid purchase and other than the price, I'm looking forward to the 945.
I have my 935 for almost 2 years and it's still fine.
There is a little scratch in the body, and the material starts to get shiny, especially around the lugs due to wear, but nothing to worry about. I do use a screenprotector, but mainly because I think it looks better. With the screenprotector the glass is level with the bezel.
It does need a good cleaning, though, but it will be fine for an other couple of years.
After 2 years it still looks great actually... Now I am pretty careful although I did bump into walls and stuff every now and then but I don't even see a scratch. I've had a screenprotector from 'protectionfilms24' on it for the entire time which is great imo, but perhaps with the 945 being gorilla grass I won't bother. Think I still have one around though so might see if it decreases visibility or something.
