I'm on my second replacement 945 but UP button is still sticky. I'm giving up hope and I don't want to change it again and loose more time on this. Garmin should really act more professional on this matter…
It seems to be a common issue, mine does it also but since the buttons still work even if sticking I don't want the hassle of returning it and not having a watch.

Hi Blake, I have had three 945s now all with this button issue. I dont want to keep contacting support and getting exchanges and it is not really helping anyone. Can you provide an update on this issue and if it is being worked on at Garmin please?
I'm on my second replacement 945 but UP button is still sticky. I'm giving up hope and I don't want to change it again and loose more time on this. Garmin should really act more professional on this matter. Collect serials, make a mass retirement of product range (if it's related to a range of serials etc).
Replacing it until I get a good working version is a joke and waste of time.
Probably many or most 945s have "non ideal" button behavior, from what I read. Mine certainly isn't ideal, sometimes when I press a button I do not get any tacktile feedback that i pressed it (no clicking sensation), making me question if I actually pressed it. The buttons do not "hang" though, so you can always press them and they will work, they just feel weird.
That being said, I do not care much about my buttons being like this. This is a running watch for me, I press maybe 20 buttons per week and I can handle them feeling "off", as long as the watch does its job. For me it is highly preferable to have my running watch around with suboptimal button feels compared with sending it in and waiting for probably multiple weeks until a replacement arrives back.
Maybe, but mine has been working flawlessly for a couple months now. I'm not saying there isn't an issue, but just observing what gets reported here in the forum is mostly just people that actually do have issues. So not a very representative subset.
