Its possible to extract the settings from a 935 and restore to the 945 ? I'm thinking about data screens etc. I've backed up and restored my 935 in the past by copying the FIT files over - does the 945 restore these too ?
I wouldn't risk it. Setting up from scratch might take you 30 minutes but it would rule out any corruption that might occur from using other files (if that would even work)
I agree. Not only because of ruling out any problems that might occur, but it's also a great way to step through the menus and screens to see where the differences are. Once you've done, save the Settings and sports for later installation if needed.
