CORRUPTED FILE - We don't support the file type you tried to import. Kindly help

I did a triathlon yesterday. The acitivity got recorded on the watch but it is not syncing with Garmin connect. I tried uploading the fit file manually but it give an error "We don't support the file type you tried to import."
I tried using the fit file repair tool but could not get through. Kindly help. The file is uploaded on

To help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files, suggest syncing your device then removing all activity fit files from your Garmin…

Fixed using Fit File Repair Tool

To help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files, suggest syncing your device then removing all activity fit files from your Garmin device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
