Forerunner 945 lte; how to backup and restore?

Per online discussion; Garmin Connect system device does show backup and restore option; web site refers to procedure 5 yr old and locked.

How is it done?

As far as I know, that feature was never pushed to the 945 LTE.

Dan, thanks again, CS confirmed that to me yesterday. He indicated sync command saves watch storage to Garmin connect.. Hard reset and on off apparently accomplish the same. I wanted to be sure; as I try various steps to resolve lte issue, I wanted to sure I wouldn’t lose the activities etc that I have completed. I like the watch and all the other features are working as expected.
