LTE subscription not activating

I tried to activate LTE through Garmin Connect yesterday and it wouldn’t let me because the subscription service was undergoing maintenance. Finally today the app let me subscribe. It told me I should receive an email but it has been several hours.

how long does it normally take? Is there any way I can contact Garmin to get them to speed it along?

(Yes, I am the last person in the world to purchase a 945 LTE.)

    It's been a couple years since I started my subscription, but I remember that it was almost immediate.  I'd contact Garmin Support to see what's going on.  

    I still use mine on every run to let my wife know where I am.  Beats carrying a phone.

  • I figured it out. Support eventually suggested I go into the Subscription Portal. There, it said I didn’t have a subscription. But the Garmin Connect app had thought I’d successfully signed up for LTE. I deleted the Garmin Connect app on my iPhone, which deleted all of its saved state. Then I reinstalled Garmin Connect. Then Garmin Connect let me go through the sign up again. A couple minutes later I got a notification that the LTE service was activated. I was then able to activate the safety features, which I was previously unable to do.
