Is there a chance we can get any official word if the Q1 updates/features will make it to the 945 LTE? I know it takes longer due to carriers. Just curious if it is planned as historically the 945 LTE has followed along the 955.

My inquiry should probably read Q2 2024 updates. Any word good or bad would be great. Thanks.
would be great, I agree with the Lap undo and the automatic transitions. the last update did not go via beta, so we can only guess. (there will be probably not a formal Garmin reply on this). FIY, I do think that especially the automatic transitions should be on a top tri watch. At least as option....
There are rumors that Garmin may "finally" release a new LTE featured Tri watch in June. If true, perhaps that puts the 945LTE essentially out of luck for meaningful updates any longer? I guess time will tell.
Do you have a source for the rumor? This rumor would have to be seen to be believed since the FR 945 LTE was more of a miss. I'm glad I skipped the 945 LTE and got the 955.
Possibly it was this page, but I may have read it somewhere else too…. https://the5krunner.com/2024/04/08/dcrainmaker-heads-off-to-madeira-for-a-hike-with-what-an-enduro-instinct-or-fenix-8/
It seems like they will eventually keep trying with an LTE watch but honestly I agree that the 945 LTE was fairly poorly supported (at least for the first long bit) and the LTE usage quite limited.
