3rd major issue with FR 945 LTE model - O_O

Hi!!! I received yesterday (after more than 2 weeks) a "refurnished" FR945LTE replacing (for 2nd time, previous 1 year ago) a failing unit (battery error sync'ing Spotify's playlist !!?  -learned lesson: music option might be expensive and issues-prone in Garmins'); hours after stating using it, the FR is stuck in a system update screen (gear with arrow pointing down) for hours. I waited for 2 hours seeing alternating that gear screen and the blue Garmin logo, then tried a hard reset without success... the gear and logo screens still keep alternating. Any hint?? Tx!!!

--I previously used a Garmin Swim (I) for years with good results; however, my experience with this FR model and the way software updates are handled is worse than bad.
