I have a 945LTE and have been marathon training with a friend with a forerunner 255. Both of our watches have latest software and are setup to record runs with the most accurate GPS setting every second. During programmed track workouts such as 7×Mile, I run in in a lane outside of him and the 255 still finishes most intervals a few seconds before my 945lte and records a faster avg pace. During 15second hill sprints and strides on the road, the 255 always records a faster pace than the 945lte when we are running together. For example, my fastest pace will record 4:10/mile and 255 will record 3:40/mile.(255 is prob correct)
Anybody else experiencing this gps lag? Is the multiband gps on the 255 that much better? We're in a rural setting on Signal Mountain near Chattanooga without buildings to block the gps signal.
