945 LTE 17.28 Restarts on some phone notifications

I'm using 945 LTE for couple of weeks, migrated from 945. Watch seems to restart few times a week after receiving some notification from Android phone. E.g. I hear notification sound on the phone for Facebook message and when I glance my 945 LTE, I see green triangle of restart.
It doesn't happen for every notification, but I saw it at least 3 times this week. Any suggestions to resolve this?

I'm getting the exact same issue since SW update 17.18.
Many others are getting restart-issues with 17.28:

Same issue for me. Seems like this is a bug in the last update. GARMIN - YOU NEED TO FIX THIS.

Question for everyone with the issue. Are you using the Beta software? I am and just wondering if the latest update for the Beta is the issue.

There is no beta for the 945 LTE. 17.28 was a live release, but yes it would be good to know if this began after updating to 17.28!

Hi everybody!

I am getting the same issue. After receiving some telephone notifications, the watch restarts.

This issue is not very serious, the watch restarts quickly and reconnects to the phone, but it is a little disconcerting.

Has anyone solved the issue?

Yes, a number of people are getting the restart issue too. Sounds like an issue. Garmin is working on it. Give them permission as you see above to Garmin-Sierra to upload your data. The more data they get to work with, the better chance of working it out. It is not usually an issue as it does restart quickly but it can happen during a workout if you phone is connected, and it will interrupt your workout. I didn't know why it happened, but started tracking when it occurred. It does seem like it is when a notification for email or text is received. But not all the time. Not sure what the trigger is exactly.
