Swim activity not sync

Hi,

today my swim is not showing in Garmin Connect. On the watch it's there but also missing the bpm data. I was wearing the HRM-Swim and it was connected.
I tried to open the activity on the watch and sync my chest strap, but there is no option. HRM-Swim is connected to the watch.

Any ideas how I can fix it? When trying to download the fit file directly from the watch it's incompatible to Strava. http://www.swimmingwatchtools.com/ is showing the data from the fit file. But of course my heart rate is missing.

If you've already tried this - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

and get an error, then there is a problem with the file. In that case, please attach it to this thread…

hi,

had a look at your provided fit swim file

there is only a tiny amount of downloaded hr data from the hrm-swim in the fit file, no other hr data present

you could do this to download the hr data from…

strange that the fit file contains downloaded data from the strap but there is no option to download

do a restart by holding the light button until the display goes blank and try again

and get an error, then there is a problem with the file. In that case, please attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

It's also not working for Garmin Connect, type is not supported. But I'm not sure if the heartrate is inside the fit file. I was downloaded stated on the watch. Please see attached file.2023-05-26-19-15-53.zip

hi,

you could do this to download the hr data from the hrm-swim

backup/remove the original fit file from the watch ACTIVITY folder
put this one in the ACTIVITY folder and name it the same as the removed original fit file [ SOLVED : note to me : ok ]
remove hrdata.fit from or empty tempfit/saf_hr folder
wear hrm-swim, open activity and download hr data
while downloading keep watch and hrm-swim in close proximity for good reception and data transfer !
- keep in mind it is data for 44 minutes !

first many thanks for your help. I have done it like you described but I can't download the HR data, option is missing. Do I need to restart the watch maybe?

Sorry that's in German. Any other idea? Much appreciated for any suggestion.

Thanks for all your help OnlyTwo, HF is back
I did the restart, still not able to download. So I deleted the activity at the watch and redo all the steps. Now it was working.
Physio TrueUp is not calculated but I can life with this.
