Reconnecting to Bluetooth

When my 945 lte goes out of Bluetooth range it disconnects from my Android phone and now suddenly will not automatically reconnect and I have to manually connect each time which is annoying and frustrating. I have deleted the Connect App from my phone but to no avail. I have the watch for 18 months and this has never been an issue before so I assume this is a software update issue??

The same or similar here. My 945lte worked flawlessly with my Galaxy S21. Then my wife got the watch and she has these problems, not always but often, with her S8. She had the same problems before with her S8 and her FR745. So we're assuming it has to do with the older phone model.

I followed the steps; unfortunately I still need to pair my phone to watch every time I loose the Bluetooth connection. Thank you though!

I updated Garmin Connect April 11 and that is when my watch stopped automatically reconnecting so it must be an issue with the update?
