Forerunner 945 LTE not available in Italy

Hi, I bought a forerunner 946 lte. I live in italy and I was said by the garmin offical support service that i cannot activate the LTE because it is not available. The garmin website says exactly the contrary.

Has any of you experienced something like that? It makes me very disappointed!

Did you buy the watch in Italy? Because, for example, if you bought it from the US it has a different antenna configuration.

Hi Jordi,

You are right, but I bought it in on line from an italian/ european dealer. In europe the signal band is the same; in fact, the answer from garming support does not mentioned this issue because it is not related to my device (i sent them the model, product code and serial number)

I have the same issue....

Seems to be a bug in Garmin Software. It makes me very disappointed because it's the only reason why i took this watch rather than a coros

I thougth the same but It's not a bug. The service has confirmed it to me. This is the reason why I asked garming to be refound for this. If you want feel free to ask garmin service for the same problem. If you give me your email, I can forward the conversation I had with them.

When I look at this Garmin map, it's true.
